Bower and Octant provided supervision consultancy services for marine and beach works at Mina Al Arab, with a primary focus on shoreline protection and coastal stability.

The scope included verification of rock quality and placement for breakwaters, supervision of beach profiling and sand nourishment, and monitoring of tidal and environmental parameters to ensure long-term shoreline resilience. In addition, our team oversaw soil improvement works and coordinated closely with contractors and survey teams to maintain compliance with design intent and environmental standards.

This project ensured the protection and enhancement of the coastal environment, safeguarding the island’s waterfront assets while preserving its natural aesthetic.
