• Develop a concept and master plan layout for the proposed marine structures that supports the intended architectural, functional, and client requirements.
• Provide integrated structural, geotechnical, and marine engineering solutions tailored for the development.
• Ensure stability, safety, constructability, and serviceability of all proposed marine elements including pontoons, offshore platforms, and cabana boardwalks.
• Provide comprehensive documentation to support the detailed design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Ensure the safety and durability of the marine structures under static, dynamic, and environmental loads.
• Design structures that complement the luxurious waterfront environment of Spain Island.
• Use materials and design practices that maximize the lifespan and minimize the environmental impact of the structures.
The Spain Island Master Plan project represents a harmonious integration of architecture and marine engineering, envisioned as a luxurious coastal retreat within The World Islands.

Our scope covered the development of the coastal and marine master plan, including the design of beach profiles, revetments, pontoons, offshore platforms, and cabana boardwalks—all engineered to ensure durability, safety, and environmental balance.

A key focus of the project was the beach design, ensuring optimal sand stability, natural shoreline aesthetics, and long-term resilience against erosion and wave action. Through detailed hydrodynamic and coastal studies, the beach layout was optimized to provide safe recreational zones while preserving the island’s natural beauty and ecological integrity.

Bower and Octant delivered integrated structural, geotechnical, and coastal engineering solutions, supported by comprehensive documentation to guide the detailed design, procurement, and construction stages. The result is a sustainable waterfront environment that complements the architectural vision and enhances the island’s overall appeal
