Six Senses palm Jumeirah- Environmental Studies
• Hydrodynamic Modeling Study
• Flushing Modeling Study
• Sediment Plume Modeling Study
• NOC and approvals
This project focused on specialized coastal modelling and environmental assessment to support the sustainable development of the Six Senses Palm Jumeirah resort. Through detailed hydrodynamic and flushing modelling, the study evaluated water circulation patterns and residence times to ensure adequate water quality and ecological balance within the coastal system.
A sediment plume dispersion study was conducted to predict and minimize potential turbidity impacts during construction, ensuring marine life and coral habitats remain unaffected. The coastal team’s advanced simulations provided essential data for optimizing the layout and confirming the feasibility of marine works.
The results of these comprehensive coastal studies formed the technical foundation for obtaining all required NOCs and environmental approvals, ensuring the project’s compliance with local and international marine environmental standards.
