The project involved the design and supervision of the new RTA Dubai Old Souk Station, located along Dubai Creek in one of the city’s most historically significant areas.
Bower and Octant provided multidisciplinary design services, covering marine engineering, architecture, structural design, and MEP works. Our scope also included preparation of detailed calculations and drawings, coordination with authorities, and securing all required NOCs and approvals to ensure smooth execution.
Now successfully completed, the Old Souk Station enhances Dubai’s public marine transport infrastructure while preserving the architectural character of the surrounding heritage district. The design blends traditional Emirati style with modern engineering solutions, creating a station that is both functional and culturally relevant.
