The Deira Old Souk Marine Station project involved full supervision consultancy services for the redevelopment of one of Dubai’s most iconic waterfront transport hubs. Bower and Octant provided detailed supervision to ensure that all marine, structural, architectural, and MEP works were executed in line with the approved designs and RTA’s quality and safety standards.
Supervision activities focused on the construction of marine structures, architectural finishing, and coordination between civil, structural, and MEP disciplines. The team closely monitored daily site progress, reviewed method statements and material submittals, and ensured compliance with authority requirements including DM, DEWA, DU, RTA, and DCD.
Through dedicated supervision and coordination, Bower and Octant ensured that the new marine station was delivered to the highest technical and aesthetic standards — preserving the traditional architectural identity of Deira while enhancing functionality, passenger comfort, and safety for Dubai’s marine transport network.
