Conditions Survey Of Jabel Ali Port

Client:

DP World

Location:

UAE, Dubai

• Site condition inspection
• Determining level of damage on the berths and infrastructure
• Defining the Client’s needs
• Determining of the service life of existing structures
• RCA report for the settlement of the block wall quay
The project involved a detailed Condition Survey and Feasibility Study for existing quay walls, berths, and port infrastructure at Jebel Ali Port — one of the largest and most critical marine hubs in the region.

Our team conducted a comprehensive site condition inspection to assess the structural integrity, extent of damage, and remaining service life of the berthing structures and surrounding facilities. The assessment also included an RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for the settlement of block wall quay sections, identifying underlying geotechnical and structural causes.

Based on the findings, a Feasibility Study was prepared to define the client’s needs, evaluate potential rehabilitation or reconstruction options, and propose cost-effective and sustainable solutions to extend the operational lifespan of the port infrastructure.

This study provided DP World with a clear technical and financial framework for future maintenance and upgrade planning, ensuring continued safety and performance of port operations.=
