Client:

P&O Ports

Location:

SERBIA, Novi Sad

• On site port inspection
• Determining tests to be taken in order to evaluate structural stability
• Port Expansion recommendation
• Feasibility study reporting
The project involved a comprehensive condition survey of the Port of Novi Sad, one of Serbia’s most important inland cargo hubs on the Danube River. The assignment focused on a detailed on-site inspection of the quay walls, berths, and associated infrastructure, aiming to assess the overall structural condition and safety of the port facilities.

Our scope included identifying and recommending the necessary structural tests to evaluate stability, durability, and long-term performance. In addition, we prepared a set of recommendations for potential port expansion, ensuring the facility can meet future logistical and operational demands.

The final stage of the project was the development of a feasibility study, consolidating all inspection findings and technical recommendations into a clear framework for decision-making. This provided the client with a strategic roadmap for modernization, rehabilitation, and sustainable growth of the port.
