B&O Engineering was entrusted to support the shoreline renovation works for the prestigious Danat Jebel Dhanna Hotel & Resort in Abu Dhabi. The project aimed to enhance the coastal protection and create a sustainable beachfront environment for one of the UAE’s prime hospitality destinations.

Our scope included hydrodynamic, flushing, sediment plume, and wave propagation studies, alongside the detailed design of an offshore breakwater to ensure long-term shoreline stability. In addition, our team managed the process of obtaining the necessary NOCs and approvals from authorities.

This project reflects our expertise in combining advanced coastal modelling, environmental responsibility, and structural design—delivering solutions that not only protect infrastructure but also enhance the guest experience at luxury beachfront resorts.
